KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The William Jewell baseball team continued its offensive onslaught of opponents on Saturday with a 14-2 run rule victory over Rockhurst. The Cardinals, who have averaged 12 runs per game over the last six games, move to 23-12 on the season and 10-6 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell wasted no time jumping on top, scoring three runs on three hits in the opening inning. 
• After Rockhurst pulled within one, the Cardinals scored three in the third inning on RBI base hits from Jake Wilcox and Anthony Hansen. 
• The Cards added two runs in the fourth, fourth in the fifth and two more in the seventh to close out the game in seven innings. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Jewell posted 15 hits, but just one extra base hit, led by three apiece by Alex Epp and Cameron Fliege. 
• Wilcox, Cole Conner, Chase Elias and Ryan Dickerson each drove in two runs. 
• Jackson Bodinson (4-1) tossed a complete game and tied teammate Jake MacDonald with an NCAA era record 12 strikeouts.
