KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The William Jewell baseball team dropped the finale of a four-game series with Lindenwood on Sunday by a final of 13-6. The Cards fall to 17-9 and 4-4 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lindenwood broke out to an early 6-0 lead but the Cardinals got two back in the third as back-to-back RBI ground outs scored Quincy Aldrich and Drew Reed who had walked. 
• The Lions added three runs in the top of the fourth to extend their lead to 9-2. 
• Jewell continued chipping away with a run in the fourth and fifth innings and two in the sixth to bring to get back within three. 
• Lindenwood followed with four runs over the final three innings to put the game out of reach. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• The Cardinals finished with 11 hits, led by three from Cole Conner. 
• Anthony Hansen and Jake Wilcox each had two base knocks with the former also driving in two for this 100th career RBI. 
• Jackson Bodinson (2-1) took the loss, allowing four earned runs on seven hits in the start.
