ROLLA, Mo. - The William Jewell volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at Missouri S&T on Friday night. The Cardinals fall to 7-9 on the season and 0-3 in league action. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The opening set was all Missouri S&T as the Miners grabbed an early 13-1 lead and never looked back, winning 25-10. 
• The Cardinals got off to a better start in set two, leading 16-14 before S&T went on a 11-2 run to finish the game and win 25-18 to take a two set lead. 
• Trailing by just two, the Cardinals committed six errors, pushing the Miner lead to 23-14 before a Jordan Collard kill ended the skid. However, Missouri S&T came back with two kills to end the set. 

KEY STATS

• Bella LaPorta finished with seven kills, 10 digs and three blocks while Tatum Ernt added four kills and three blocks. 
• Haidan Baade had 12 kills to lead the match with Collard adding 10.
