LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - The William Jewell men's and women's swimming teams opened the new year with a sweep of Saint Mary on Friday afternoon. The Cardinal men defeated the Spires 175-87 while the women won 134-123. 

Jewell took home 15 individual event wins and two relays, led by Martina Torrent, Casey Bach, Jacob Berkheimer, and Max Ewigman who each posted two.
