INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – William Jewell College freshman Lilly Weber has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 

Weber led the Cardinals to a sweep of Truman State and Quincy last week and wins her first career Athlete of the Week Award. She took first in the 1000 free with an NCAA B cut time of 10:24.24 while also winning the 500 free at 5:13.80. She followed up with another win the 500 against Quincy with a time of 5:19.84. 

The Cardinals are off until the February 8-11 when they head to Evansville, Indiana for the 2023 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships.
