INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The William Jewell football team dropped a 59-17 decision at No. 12 ranked Indianapolis on Saturday evening on the road. The Cardinals fall to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After the Greyhounds took an early 7-0 lead on the opening drive, Jewell got on the board with a 38-yard field goal from Paul Geelen. 
• UIndy added seven more before the Cardinals found the end zone for the first time as Keaundre McCullough found a gap up the middle for 57 yards to pull within four, 14-10. 
• The Greyhounds added 31 points over the next two quarters to take a commanding 45-10 lead. To start the fourth quarter, Taylor Eggers found Nathan Barnett for 14 yards and a score. 
• UIndy added two more touchdowns in the fourth period to bring the score to the final of 59-17.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• McCullough led the team with 64 rushing yards and one touchdown.
• Eggers went 15-for-26 through the air with 170 yards. 
• AJ Austene led the receivers with 66 yards while Deldrionn Amos added 57. 
• Ethan Reynolds paced the defense with nine tackles while Javion Macias had a sack.
