Northeastern State Spoils Season Open for Cardinals

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The William Jewell baseball team dropped the 2023 season opener on Friday afternoon by a final of 10-0 in eight innings. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After just two runs were scored in the opening four innings, the RiverHawks plated five in the fifth frame, including four on one swing after loading the bases. 
  • NSU added three more runs in the eighth inning to end the game with the final of 10-0.
