INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - William Jewell's Connor Hull has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The freshman placed second in the 400 meter dash on Saturday at the Mule Relays with a time of 48.37 to break a 21-year-old school record. The mark also ranks first in the GLVC this season and 16th in Division II while hitting the provisional mark for the NCAA Championships. Additionally, he was a member of the 4x400 relay team that broke the school record for the second time in two weeks with a time of 3:15.63 to hit an NCAA provisional mark, rank in the top-25 nationally and place third in the meet. 

This is the first weekly honor of Hull's career and the first for the Cardinals since Blake Alexander in 2017.
