MARYVILLE, Mo. - The William Jewell baseball team dropped the final non-conference of the year on Tuesday in a 13-6 loss at Northwest Missouri State. The Cardinals move to 25-17 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Northwest Missouri took the early lead, scoring two runs in the first and four more in the third. 
• The Cardinals put up six runs in the top of the fourth to tie the game. With three on, Kaden Owens reached on a fielder's choice to plate the run for Jewell. Back-to-back singles from Jonah Sanford and Quincy Aldrich preceded a walk to Jake Wilcox to add two more and cut the deficit in half. Dawson Tweet then single to bring the Cards within one and Jewell took advantage of consecutive walks to tie the things up at six. 
• The Bearcats responded with three runs in the fourth and added another four in the sixth to bring the score ot the final of 13-6. 

KEY STATS

• Jordan Phillips with a team high 11 hits while Tweet, Sanford and Aldrich each added two. 
• Aiden Flood (3-3) took the loss, allowing two earned runs in relief.
