INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - William Jewell junior defensive line Derrick Von Hubbard was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

The Conyers, Georgia native blocked Southwest Baptist's field goal attempt with two seconds remaining in regulation on Saturday to preserve Jewell's 28-27 win. The junior added five tackles, including four solos, and earns the first Special Teams Player of the Week nod for the Cardinals since Bulla Graft in October 2017.
