INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the second straight year William Jewell volleyball's
Bella LaPorta has been selected to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday night. The All-Conference awards are nominated and voted on by league coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own players.
LaPorta finished conference play ranked fifth in the league with 4.17 kills per set over 47 sets with 196 total while averaging 4.66 points per set. Overall during the 2024 season the senior finished with 411 kills, fifth best in the GLVC, to go with a team high 464 points for an average of 4.59 per set. She was also second on the team with 336 digs and 22 service aces and third with 52 total blocks.
For her career, the two-time All-GLVC First Teamer collected 1,457 kills and 1,220 digs and is one of three players all-time to be a member of both 1,000 clubs.
