SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The William Jewell volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss on Friday night at Drury University. The Cardinals fall to 7-20 overall and 1-9 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell scored five straight points to take an early 11-7 lead after a kill from Madison Grekstas. The Panthers rallied to take a late lead and win 25-23. 
• The Cardinals came out firing in set two, as a block from Katy Garrison and Bella LaPorta, made it a 7-3 Jewell lead. Drury tied things up at 18 but kills from Grekstas and Emma Lea Benney put the Cards back in front. The Panthers finished on a 6-1 run to take set two, 25-21. 
• Tied at 11 early in set three, DU went on a 14-5 run to roll to a 25-16 win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• LaPorta led the offense with 13 kills while Samantha Thompson finished with 20 assists. 
• Garrison had a team high five blocks with Alexis Nunn grabbing 20 digs.
