PUEBLO, Colo. - The William Jewell men's lacrosse team earned a 10-9 win on Thursday afternoon at Colorado State Pueblo to move to 5-3 on the season. The two teams battled the elements, clearing multiple inches of snow off the field prior to face off. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Carson Wright and Nathaniel Leroux got things started off fast for the Cardinals, scoring in the first four minutes.
• Trailing 5-4 midway through the second quarter, Bailey Allard and Olivier LaPlante put the Cardinals back in front at the half. 
• Tied 8-8 heading into the final frame, Seth Heath scored back-to-back goals to put Jewell on top 10-8. The Wolfpack got a goal with four minutes to play but a late turnover, forced by Allard, secured the victory. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Heath scored two goals and had one assist for a team high three points. LaPlante also scored twice. 
• Hunter Mee was 9-for-11 on face offs while picking up 10 ground balls. 
• Fynn Ziebarth had 14 saves in the win.
