LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's lacrosse team put up a furious fourth quarter rally on Saturday but came up just short, falling 12-9 to Alabama Huntsville. The Cardinals drop to 3-3 on the season while UAH moves to 4-3. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jewell scored the first two goals of the day but the Chargers followed with a 7-0 run before Hudson Parnell ended the skid with a goal late in the second quarter. 
• Bailey Allard went the length of the field to score at the buzzer and end the half with the Cardinals trailing 7-4. 
• With Alabama Huntsville leading 10-6 headed into the fourth quarter, Eric Ramirez scored followed by a goal by Nathaniel Lerioux to cut the deficit to just two. 
• The Chargers pushed their lead back to four before Hunter Mee scored on a feed from Jake Wynecoop but Jewell could get no closer. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Allard led the Cardinals with two goals while Wynecoop had two assists. 
• Bear Anderson and Matthew Peterson each forced two turnovers. 
• Fynn Ziebarth grabbed a season high 20 saves while picking up seven ground balls.
