LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell baseball team won both games against Lewis University on Saturday afternoon. Due to weather, the Senior Day doubleheader was played as a seven inning game, followed by a run-ruled game in what would have been the game played Sunday.

The 15-7 and 15-1 wins thrusts Jewell to 28-18 and 18-14 in GLVC play. At the end of the day Jewell currently stands alone in the fifth seed of the conference tournament beginning May 8.
