Jewell Falls at No. 14 UIndy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The William Jewell women's lacrosse team was defeated 22-1 on Sunday morning by No. 14 ranked Indianapolis. The Cardinals fall to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Greyhounds scored six early goals on route to taking a 12-0 halftime lead. 
  • Jewell got on the board in the fourth as Jordan Wynn won the draw control leading to a goal from Olivia Fornelli, her team leading 19th over the season. 
  • UIndy added four more goals to end the game, 22-1. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Fornelli and Toryn Podschwit each had two shots with Wynn earning three draw controls. 

UP NEXT
Jewell returns home for the final time this season next weekend as they host McKendree on Friday afternoon and Maryville on Sunday.
