LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's lacrosse team picked up a 21-8 win over Northwood University (Mich.) on Friday afternoon to move to 3-1 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• With the Cardinals on top 3-2 early, Jewell scored eight in a row to open up a commanding 11-2 lead. The Timberwolves got two back but still trailed the Cardinals 12-4 at the half. 
• Jewell outscored their guests 9-4 in the second half to cruise to the double digit win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Elle Eastwood and Fia Lamanno each scored a team high four goals while Olivia Fornelli added three and four assists. 
• The Cardinals out shot Northwood 43-17.
