LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell women's lacrosse team ran into a tough Indianapolis team on Saturday morning, falling to No. 7 ranked Greyhounds 23-5. Jewell falls to 6-9 on the season and 1-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinals forced a turnover allowing Fia Lamanno to pick up the ground ball and score to make it 2-1, UIndy in the early going. 
• The Greyhounds scored five straight before Olivia Fornelli connected on the first of her four goals before adding another on a free position attempt and make it 11-3 at the break, in favor of UIndy.
•  Fornelli found the cage for her 43rd score of the season late in the fourth quarter and added another midway through the fourth period but the 'Hounds outscored Jewell 12-2 in the second half to roll to the win. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Fornelli led the Cardinals with four goals while Kaylee Gross had one assist. 
• Claire Eastwood picked up five ground balls and made seven saves. 
• Kennedy Madison finished with three caused turnovers while Elle Eastwood had three draw controls.
