KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The William Jewell women's basketball team scored a season high on Thursday night but fell 108-65 at Truman State. The Cardinals drop to 0-18 on the season and 0-12 in conference play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cardinal offense started strong, scoring 17 first quarter points, but Truman came out of the gates on fire countering with 32 on a 71% clip from the floor. After a bucket from Syderah Farmer made it 16-13, the Bulldogs went on a 14-2 run to go in front 32-15. 
• Jewell went cold in the second quarter, connecting on just 4-of-14 from the floor as the Bulldogs built a 53-28 halftime lead. 
• The Cardinals got three pointers from Farmer, Jalea Price, and Alex McGarrah in the second half but could not keep pace with Truman State who continued to shoot lights out, going 19-for-32 (59%) in the final two quarters.

• Jewell put three players in double figures led by Farmer and Price with 15 a piece while McGarrah added 13. 
• Rylee Thompson finished with a team high six rebounds and three assists.
