William Jewell College Athletics

LIBERTY, Mo. – William Jewell women's lacrosse fell to No. 5 Maryville University on Friday afternoon, 21-3. The loss gives Jewell a 1-12 record on the season with an 0-6 mark in the GLVC.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• After four goals from the Saints, Rosie Grebe found the back of the net for a 4-1 score nine minutes in.
• It wasn't until the first goal of the third quarter that Jewell scored again, this time from Kuepper Trinkel to make it 15-2. The Broomfield, Colorado native scored again with 10 minutes left to before ending in a 21-3 score.
• 28-2.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Brynn Devers played the first half, collecting four saves. Claire Eastwood stood in the cage in the second half of the 'Goalies Matter' game, tallying five saves.
• Jewell was outshot 36-to-seven, with four shots from Trinkel.
