The Cardinal women fell to 5-2 on the year Saturday afternoon, losing to Newman University 61-49 in Wichita, Kansas.  There  were nine lead changes in the game, mostly in a first half that ended tied at 26.

Holly Switzer had 16 points to lead the Cardinals (5-2).  Chelsea Meeks chipped in 11 for Jewell.

The Cardinals return home to face Ottawa University next Friday, December 16 at 5:30 p.m.
