The Jewell women fell at Northern Kentucky 73-41 Thursday night in their first-ever Great Lakes Valley Conference road game.  After a quick Cardinal start, Northern Kentucky rallied to take a 31-19 lead at the end of the first half.  The second half, though, was dominated by the Norse as they outscored Jewell 42-22 in the half.

Tesia Danner had 8 points to lead the Cardinals, with Katlyn Wood hitting for another 7 along with two blocked shots.  Holly Switzer had 6 points and three steals

The Cards (6-3, 1-2 in the GLVC) play Saturday afternoon at Bellarmine in Louisville, KY at noon CST.  The pregame show on the WJC Sports Network's live audio broadcast will begin at 11:40 a.m. CST.
