Box Score Missouri Science & Technology overcame a 15 point Jewell lead in the second half and downed the Cardinals 69-67 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Thursday in Rolla, Missouri.

S&T outscored Jewell 40-29 in the second half to pull out the win.  The Cardinals  had led by a 15-point margin with 16:55 to play.

An Aerial Smith full court drive beginning with 7.5 seconds left came up short off the glass to ensure the win for the Miners, following two made free throws to give the Miners (6-8, 2-4 in the GLVC) the win.

Maddie Nelson had 18 points, Chelsea Meeks had 17 points and four steals, and Hayli Jo Smith scored 11 for Jewell (8-6, 3-3).

Jewell shot 41% from the field, while S&T shot 46%.

Drury hosts Jewell in GLVC play on Saturday afternoon at 1:00.  The Panthers are ranked #10 in the country this week.
