The William Jewell College women's basketball team opened up their home season with an exhibition matchup against Livin' The Dream.  The Cardinals came out ahead 104-74 in this exhibition matchup.

This season the Cardinals have many new faces and hope to make a splash in the conference.  Katie Finn led Jewell with  22 points, Chris Keys added 14 points to while Maddie Nelson scored 12 points and had six rebounds and six assists; Hannah Nicolay added 11 for the Cards.

The first official game of the season is Monday November, 17 at 7:00 p.m. against former HAAC rival Avila University.
