Box Score The Cardinals faced off against the No. 8 Panthers of Drury University in a Great Lakes Valley Conference clash on Thursday night in Liberty, Mo., and were defeated 84-81.  This loss moved the Cardinals to 11-13 overall and 5-11 in the GLVC.
 
At the half the Cards trailed by 14.  Chelsea Meeks entered the locker room with 16 points for the Cards.
 
Meeks ended the game with 33 points, three rebounds and two steals; Aerial Smith contributed 14 points, seven boards and three steals; Cassy Nicolay added 12 points and five boards.  The Cards only had nine turnovers and forced the Panthers to commit 15.
 
William Jewell will play thier home finale on Saturday,  February 21, against Missouri S&T with tip off slated for 1:00 p.m.
