William Jewell College sophomore forward
Kiara Bradley has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.
Last week, Bradley averaged 22 points, 6.5 rebounds, and two assists in the Cardinals two wins over Avila University and Lincoln University. She posted two career-highs with nine rebounds opposite Avila and her 29 points at Lincoln, helped hand the Blue Tigers their first home loss of the season, and are the fourth most by a Cardinal in the NCAA era.
In addition, the sophomore shot a blistering 60 percent from the field, including 63 percent from behind the three-point line, and was a perfect 9-for-9 at the charity stripe.
This is the first weekly honor for Bradley and the first for the Cardinals since
Maddie Nelson in January 2017.
