SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The William Jewell men's wrestling team made history on Sunday as they won the first-ever Great Lakes Valley Conference dual in a 36-17 win over Davenport University. The Cardinals also fell 43-6 to McKendree University, who is receiving votes in the national polls. 

Mario Quezada went 2-0 on the day, winning twice by fall, while LJ Davenport, Jaxson McIntyre and John Gholsoneach picked up wins against Davenport.
