CARDINAL NOTES

• The Cardinal pitching staff has found a groove in the last three games, allowing just four earned runs in 24 innings of work. During that time, Aliyah Santiago has lowered her ERA to 1.56, seventh best in the GLVC, giving up a single earned run on Wednesday evening to Southwest Baptist. 
• Sydney Parra has also been strong in the circle. The sophomore has allowed just four earned in her last three outings, working more than 21 innings while striking out 12. 
• Payton Totzke continues to pace the squad with a .327 batting average while scoring a team high nine runs and drawing 10 walks. 
• As a team, the Cardinals are 13th in the GLVC with a .191 average and 11th with a 4.15 staff ERA. 
• Dustin Combs is in his 16^th season with the Cardinals, owns more than 400 career wins and is looking for return to the GLVC Tournament for the first time since 2018.
