OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -The 2024 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Among the honorees are William Jewell's
AJ Austene and
Preston Snead. The pair are two of 30 Great Lakes Valley Conference players to make the list.
Austene started all 11 games this fall, earning All-GLVC Honorable Mention honors at wide receiver while majoring in accounting. Meanwhile, Snead, a business administration major also appeared in all 11 games on the defensive line with a season high five tackles in his final game.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
