Box Score LIBERTY, Mo. - In their home opener, the William Jewell men's lacrosse team earned a 13-7 victory over Malone University on Friday afternoon to improve to 2-1 on the season. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Tied at four late in the first quarter, Jewell scored six unanswered goal to take a 10-5 lead heading into halftime. 
• Jewell got three more scores over the final period to take down the Pioneers, 13-7.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Declan Fines finished with a team high five goals on 12 shots. 
• Fynn Ziebarth finished with seven saves.
