INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Tuesday that exactly 100 men's and women's teams have been named recipients of the 2012-13 Team Academic All-GLVC Award. The GLVC recognizes each team from member institutions that have maintained a 3.30 grade point average for the academic year.  In the past two seasons, the GLVC has boasted record numbers as the recipient total has increased by 15 honorees each year.  This season's total of 100 shatters the former conference record of 85 set last year, which had previously bested the mark of 70 recipients from 2010-11.
 
Cardinal teams that were honored include: 

Women's Basketball (3.73)
Women's Tennis (3.63)
Volleyball (3.49)
Men's Tennis (3.47)
Women's Soccer (3.47)
Women's Track and Field (3.41)
Women's Golf (3.33)

The GLVC recently announced individual Academic-All Conference selections, with Jewell placing 116 individuals on the list.
