LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's wrestling team got off to a solid start against No. 5 ranked McKendree on Sunday afternoon but the Cardinals fell 42-6.
As with any new program, or in the case of the Cardinals, a revived program, open weight classes are common in dual action but Jewell was able to secure two wins in the first four bouts before the Bearcats expanded their lead.Â
