LIBERTY, Mo. - The William Jewell men's wrestling team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Wednesday night, hosting Maryville University. Jewell fell 38-3 as freshman John Gholson got the lone win for the Cardinals with a 13-7 decision over at 184 pounds over Bret Heil, who is ranked 19th at 174.
