ST. LOUIS, Mo. - William Jewell's Alex Epp has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Region First Team for his performance during the 2023 season. He now becomes eligible for the All-America ballot with that honor being announced in June. 

The senior shortstop hit .435 to break his own NCAA era single season record while scoring 55 runs and driving in 49. He picked up 16 doubles, one triple and blasted eight home runs on a team high 80 hits, one off his record of 81 set in 2022. He earned First Team All-GLVC and NCBWA All-Region Second Team honors for the second consecutive year earlier this spring.
