INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The William Jewell baseball team will make its way to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament next week as the No. 7 seed. The Cardinals will take on No. 2 seed Illinois Springfield on Thursday at 4 p.m. The Championship will take place in Marion, Illinois at Mtn. Dew Park. 

Jewell will be making their second consecutive postseason appearance after going 29-21 on the season and 17-15 in conference play. The Cardinals lost the tie breakers to Indianapolis and Drury but finished two games ahead of eight seed Missouri S&T.
