Phillips Tabbed As GLVC Player of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) named Redshirt Junior Jordan Phillips Player of the Week for the week of March 4, as announced by the Conference Monday afternoon.

The Houston, Texas native batted .583 (7-for-12) with a .722 on-base percentage in the Cardinals four-game series over the weekend, while blasting a pair of multi-run home runs on a 1.083 slugging percentage. Phillips drove in seven runs and scored six of his own, including a five RBI showing in the first game of the series. In the final game to win the weekend series, Phillips went 3-for-3 highlighted by a two-run homer.

This is the first career Player of the Week Award for Phillips, and the first for the Cardinal program since Tyler Murphy on April 8, 2019.
