INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced the 2025 postseason honors on Wednesday afternoon with five players from William Jewell selected. Olivia Fornelli and Zoey Keefer each picked up All-GLVC Second Team nods while Kaylee Gross, Elle Eastwood, and Kennedy Madison were named to the Honorable Mention list. These mark the first All-Conference awards in program history.

Fornelli, a sophomore attack, led the Cardinals and was second in the conference with 2.06 assists per game and handing out 37 total. Her 47 goals led the team while her 84 total points was third in the league. She added 80 draw controls and boasted nine games with at least three goals. 

Keefer was second in the GLVC with 1.88 caused turnovers per game, leading the team with 32 on the year along with 48 ground balls. She forced a season high five turnovers in a 20-10 win over Quincy. 

Gross followed closely behind Keefer with 1.78 caused turnovers per game and 27 total. The sophomore also added 31 goals and 19 assists, with two game winners, and 46 draw controls. 

Eastwood burst upon the offense scene this spring, starting 16 games, scoring 40 times, including eight free position goals. Her 33 draw controls was third on the team to with 23 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers. She closed the season strong with six goals against McKendree and four against No. 5 ranked Maryville. 

Madison played all 17 games forcing 29 turnovers, second on the team, while picking up 35 ground balls. She had a season best four caused turnovers in two different games. 

The league also recognized Quincy as its GLVC Women's Lacrosse James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award team recipient, as well as eight student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees, including Jewell's Isabella Fleming, are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced in May.
