LIBERTY, Mo. - William Jewell's
Jordan Phillips was named to the 2025 NCBWA Midwest All-Region First Team Wednesday evening. It is the first nod to the Midwest All-Region First Team for the redshirt senior who was named an All-GLVC First Team selection this month, being designated under the Utility position. It is the fourth consecutive year that the Cardinals have had a selection on the Midwest All-Region team.
Phillips wraps up his third and final year with the Cardinal program where he hit a team high .361, where he was top ten in the GLVC with 66 hits, including being tied for the second most doubles (20). Phillips was tied for the most home runs on the team with eight, while going 18-for-19 in stolen base attempts.
While he primarily played third base and right field for the Cardinals this year the Deer Park, Texas native also made two appearances on the mound, including one start, where he struck-out three batters and had a combined ERA of 4.50.
