INDIANAPOLIS - William Jewell junior Raesean Eaton has earned Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Special Teams Player of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday. Quincy junior running back Collin Parsons, Truman State junior cornerback DJ Richmond were named the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week. 

Eaton helped Jewell retain a tie for first place in the GLVC standings with a dramatic one-point victory at Upper Iowa. The junior blocked the Peacocks' punt, recovering the ball and returning it 23 yards with 1:26 remaining in the game. The play set up the Cardinals' game-winning 30-yard field goal. This is the first weekly honor of Eaton's career and the second for Jewell this season.
