ON TAP
The William Jewell volleyball team takes a break from Great Lakes Valley Conference play this weekend as they head to Indianapolis for the annual Midwest Region Crossover. The tournament features all teams from the three leagues that make up the NCAA-II Midwest Region (GLVC, GLIAC, GMAC). Seeding is based upon current league standings with the Cardinals sitting at No. 10 in the GLVC.   

LAST TIME OUT
Jewell is coming off a 3-2 win over Southwest Baptist. After dropping two games to No. 12 Rockhurst and Drury who is unbeaten in the conference play, the Cardinals staved off disaster with the win. Elizabeth Quinn posted a season-high 16 kills to lead the way while Lily Johnson tied her career high with 10.  

THE SERIES (since 2007)
The Cardinals have faced Wayne State twice in the NCAA-era, including once at the Crossover but have dropped both matches. 
 
Jewell last met with Malone at the Crossover in 2015 and won that match 3-1.
 
Lake Erie is also a one-time opponent, coming at the Crossover in 2011 where the Cardinals downed the Storm 3-2.
