William Jewell College Athletics

Dick Cox was a three year letter winner in basketball at Jewell where he was a team captain and led the Cardinals to the 1960 NAIA Final Four. In addition, he helped Jewell to a Missouri College Athletic Union and District 16 titles, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament second round in 1962. He was named First Team All-Conference as well as NAIA Honorable Mention All-America.
