Jim Dudley arrived on Jewell’s campus in the fall of 1959 and made an immediate impact on the basketball program as the 1960 squad made their way to the Final Four of the NAIA National Tournament. He played on two Missouri College Athletic Union Championship teams and two National Tournament teams. He was the Cardinals leading scorer and assists man as a junior and senior and his 1,363 career points had him at No. 3 upon his graduation. He also finished as Jewell’s career assists leader.
