Tom Dunn attended Jewell from 1966-70 where he was four-year letterwinner in both football and basketball. He played on Jewell’s first ever undefeated football team in 1967 and led the Cardinals to a four-year record of 34-5. Dunn was named All-Conference and All-District three times on the field while also earning the same honors twice in basketball. He received Jewell’s Athlete of the Year Award as a senoir and was one of only two student-athletes to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He later coached football (assistant) and basketball (head women’s coach) at Jewell.
