This 1983 Jewell graduate was a three-year letterwinner in football and played baseball for the Cardinals for one season. While he had an outstanding career, his final season was very special one. He was named First Team All-Heart of America Conference, First Team All-District and a First Team NAIA-II All-American Place Kicker. He was also named an NAIA-II Academic All-American. Hudson led the nation in individual kick scoring with an average of 7.1 points per game. He was a member of the 1982 team which finished second in the nation and during his career the Cardinals were 41-6-1 with four HAAC Championships.
