William Jewell College Athletics

Bob Carson attended Jewell from 1953-57 lettering in basketball and track. At the time of his graduation he was the Cardinals career scoring and rebounding leader and continues to holds the record of 24 rebounds in a single game. In addition to basketball, Carson was a four-time conference champion in the high jump while also breaking the Jewell record for high jump at 6’5” ½”. Additionally he won the long jump title three times and was the co-captain in each sport.
