Hall of Fame
Kevin Cheadle was a non-traditional student, coming to The Hill in the fall of 1984 attending night school, working during the day and attending practices before heading to class. He moved on campus as a sophomore and remained a resident for the rest of his career for the Cardinals. He was a four year starter who still holds every blocked shots record and is among Jewell’s leaders in career scoring and rebounding. During his career the Cardinals won four Heart of America Athletic Conference titles, finishing with an overall record of 109-19 and 53-3 in conference play. He was a four-time All-Heart of America Conference First Team and All-District First Team selection and earned two NAIA Honorable Mention honors.
After graduation he played one year of professional basketball in Melbourne Australia from 1989-1990.
