William Jewell College Athletics

Young was a three year letter winner in swimming and diving and earned a two NAIA All-America honors in 1981 by placing sixth in the NAIA National Meet in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competition. She graduated with a degree in physical education and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority (Pledge Trainer) and editor of the yearbook.
