William Jewell College Athletics

The William Jewell Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1994 to recognize outstanding achievement by William Jewell alumni, faculty, or staff in the areas of athletic achievement, coaching, or other noteworthy accomplishments as a member of the athletic department. The selection is based solely on what the individual accomplished while associated with William Jewell College.

Nominations may be submitted by all William Jewell constituents with final selections made by the Hall of Fame Committee which is constructed of alumni, current and former coaches, and Athletic staff.

A ten-year waiting period is required for student-athlete selection and while graduation is not a requirement for the Hall of Fame it is preferred. The award may be presented posthumously to alumni, faculty, or staff. The selection should be made on the overall career of any individual, however, it may, on occasion, be based on a single accomplishment.
